Welcome to Yeshivas Lubavitch Cincinnati. These three words are more than just the name of our holy institution: they also sum up our goals and ideals.
Yeshiva ─ A Yeshiva is a Rabbinic preparation seminary. The students learn Talmudic Law and analysis, as well as Codified Law (Halachah) and Jewish philosophy. There are many seminars on refining one's character traits as well as being injected with a sense of mission and purpose.
Lubavitch ─ Lubavitch and Chabad are one and the same. The Lubavitcher Rebbe, Rabbi Menachem Mendel Schneerson מה"מ, exhibited self-sacrifice for Jewish education and Ahavas Yisroel by personal example. At our school, these ideals are taught as an integral part of the curriculum, where the Rebbe's vision and prophecy of a world-at-peace in the "Messianic Era" is the driving force behind our studies and conduct within this community and beyond.
Cincinnati ─ The boys are taught to feel a sense of responsibility to community members and affairs. They are encouraged to devote their free time to Jewish outreach and awareness, which includes ongoing visits to hospitals, care homes, and the home-bound, as well as working with the city youth.
